Everyone’s Busy yeah right

The Masters Quartet had a great week last week and we hope you did too. Allen is back in school at Mississippi State, Cassidy is still keeping everyone safe and sound at the Tupelo Police Dept.,Charles is keeping all the kids in line at Pine Grove school, Donald is still looking for a job and Scott is……….well he is just being Scott.

The Masters Quartet sang Saturday Aug. 22 at the big one day revival at Furrs Baptist Church at Pontotoc,Ms. Three of the best preachers you have ever heard and the music of Heaven’s Highway,Crawford Crossing and The Masters Quartet. We had a blessed time with Bro.Steve Cohea and all the folks at Furrs.

Sunday we were at Bethleham Freewill Baptist, north of Guin, Ala. Great Preaching from the pastor,more food than you could imagine and singing in the afternoon. Hope we get a request to go back real soon.

This weekend will be busy for us as we go to the Woodmen of the world bulding in Eupora,Ms. This singing will be hosted by Billy Hill. Check Billy’s web site out at msgospelmusic.com for updates on all your favorites groups. Singing with us will be Southern Image Quartet and Scott Gregory.

Sunday we will be in ITAWAMBA County at the Fairview Baptist Church at 10:30 am. This will be morning only and we are looking forward to being back at Fairview with Bro.Gene and all the good folks over there.

Sunday evening we will travel to Secound Baptist Church at Lexington,Tenn for our very first visit and we are exicited. Pray for us and we will see you hear next time with another update…..God Bless You  from all of The Masters Quartet

Busy,Busy,Busy

The Masters Quartet has been blessed and very busy this past week. Wednesday we sang at Common Ground Christian church at Wren,Ms. What a wonderful time we had. Lots of vistors and great food. We look forward to going back real soon. Thursday night we had a photo shoot for our new C.D. which should be ready in early September. The pictures turned out good and there is some of the guys clowning around so look for them on Scott’s facebook page. Saturday we were at First Baptist Church Gu-win,Ala and had a great service. It was good to see a lot of our Alabama friend’s. Sunday was homecoming at Shiloah Baptist  Church at Mantachie,Ms with Brother Henry Jenkins and his church family. we always look forward to going to Shiloah.

A special thanks to my wife Denise and Billy Kennedy for all their help this weekend.

Join The Masters Quartet this weekend at the big one day Revival at The Furrs Baptist Church on highway 6 between Pontotoc and Tupelo. Along with us, Heaven’s Highway and Living Waters Trio will be singing and Bro.Kevin Merrit,Dr. Ronnie Barefield and Bro.James Shutts will be preaching. It satarts at 2pm. Sunday we will be at Bethelhem Freewill Baptist Church at Guin,Ala at 1pm. We look forward to seeing all of you this weekend. Have a great week and pray for us as we pray for you.

wow God is good

The Masters Quartet had another wonderful weekend sing the good news.Saturday night we made our way to the great state of Tennessee to the Cave Springs Baptist Church at Henderson and was welcomed with open arms.Those folks know how to sing and gave us such a warm welcome. We left knowing that we had made a lot of new friends.Thanks Kevin for having us. Sunday found us at Cherokee,Ala at Asphalt Rock Baptist Church and they were ready for a concert.The preaching was great,the food wonderful and they sang us to death. It was great.The Masters Quartet has a busy week ahead,Donald and his wife Denise along with good friend June Walden will lead music for revival service at New Liberty Baptist Church Near Burnsville,Ms Tuesday night at 7. Then on Wednesday Night The Quartet will be in concert at Common Ground Christian Church at Wren,Ms. Thursday night we will have a photo shoot for our new C.D. Then Saturday we will be at First Baptist Church at Gu-win, Ala and Sunday at Shiloah Baptist Chuch at Mantachie, Ms at 1 pm for homecoming.We would love to see you ALL there. Once again a special thanks to our transportation director and product manger (whew,that’s a long title) Charles Hodges for making sure we arrvied saftley and were on time (even Scott..lol). A very busy weekend

This past weekend was very busy for The Masters Quartet.Friday night july 31 we sang at Carnation Baptist Church in Okolona,Ms.This was great for Allen as this is his hometown and a lot of his friends and family were there.We sang with Pauls Journey from Houston,Texas and had a wonderful time.the most important event of the night was the young lady who was saved at the end of the service,now aint that what it is all about. Saturday started a new month and found the Masters Quartet at the Bethelehem Baptist Church With our very dear friends.They always make us feel welcome and we had a wonderful service.Sunday we travled to Lamar,Ms to Clear Creek Baptist Church and it was their homecoming.Mike Devore is the music leader and did a great job singing and keeping everyone on track.The preaching was good,the food great and the fellowsip was out of this world.We always have a good time at Clear Creek.It was nice to meet Jimmy Jones, former tenor singer with the Dixie Melody Boys. We look forward to this weekend.The Masters Quartet will be at Cave Springs Baptist Church Saturday August 8 at 7 pm.that is near Henderson,Tenn and Sunday we will sing at Asphalt Rock Baptist Church at Cherokee,Ala at 11am and 1pm.we would love to see you at these concerts.
