April 18 & 19

The Masters Quartet had two wonderful singings this pas weekend. We begin the trip in Mooreville MS, at Living Waters Community Church, and ended the weekend at Free Water Freewill Baptst church in Guin AL.

The Masters started the weekend at Living Waters Community Church in Mooreville, MS. We had a great time, celebrating Heavens Highway’s homecoming. We had a wonderful time with Heavens Highway, and had a great time worshipping and fellowshipping with them. We also had a great time eatting fish, that they were serving. The Masters were excited to see some of our friends, and family, and also Roger with the Fishers of Men, and Phill KIng with the Landmarks Quartet. We had a great time celebrating Heavens Highways homecoming, and we look forward to worshipping with them again.

The Masters ended the weekend in Guin AL. We were at the Free Waters Freewill Baptist Church. We had a great time during the worship service, and heard a great message from the pastor Bro. Dwayne Hammontree. After the morning service, we had a wonderful fellowship meal that was great. After the lunch, we attempted to sing some good old gospel music. We were so full, we about could sing a note. We made it through the service, and had a great time of worship. We look forward to singing with the folks in Guin really soon.

April 10 & 11

The Masters Quartet had a wonderful Easter weekend. We began the weekend in Fulton, MS and ended the weekend at Plantersville MS.

The Masters started the weekend at Fulton MS, Wal-Mart parking lot. We were glad to help raise money for a great cause, the Relay For Life. The Masters had a great time seeing all of the folks that was there. It was great to here all of the other groups that was there as well. We had a great time, and look forward to singing with all the groups there.

The Masters ended the weeekend, in Plantersville MS at Estes Fish and Steak House. We had a great time of fellowshipping, along with seeing friends that we have not seen in a while. We had a great time, and a great meal. The Masters look forward to getting to go back.

The Masters got to celebrate Easter at our home churches. We had wonderful services, along with seeing our friends and family. We hope and pray that all of you had a great Easter, and please continue to pray for The Masters as we travel and serve our Lord.

Camden Hood Memorial Singing

The Masters had a great time this weekend. We traveled to Monroe county with the family of Camden for a fellowship meal. We ended the weekend at Cason Baptist church in Nettleton.
We started the weekend on Friday night, with a supper at the Hood family’s residence. We had a great meal, and great meeting new friends, along with seeing folks that we hadn’t seen in a while.
Saturday we arrived at the Cason Baptist Church. There we met up with our friends Saving Grace, it was great to see them, and also to here there wonderful music. Marty Funderburk was also there with us. It was a honor, to meet such a great singer and song writer. The night was started off with a group of women from the church, they sounded great. Saving Grace took the stage next, with some great southern gospel music. Scott and his daughter Carley was in line next, and as usual heard some great singing. The Masters hit the stage, with some good old quartet singing. We had a great time of worship. Marty Thunderburk ended the night with some great songs of praise. We had the oppurtunity to here some of the wonderful songs that God has blessed him with. We look forward to singing with Saving Grace and Marty in the future. We had a great time at Cason. We also had a wonderful time helping to raise money for this wonderful scholarship fund. We had a great time with the family of Camden. Thanks to all the folks that came out to support this cause, and please continue to pray for us, along with the others that was there as we travel and sing for our Lord.

March 28 and 29

The Masters had a great weekend of good gospel music. We were in Peppertown MS, Okolona MS, and Houston MS.

Saturday afternoon begin in Peppertown. We were at the Friendship Firedepartment, for a fund raiser that the Friendship Baptist church was putting on. We got to hear some great bluegrass music by the Underwoods from Nettleton. We took the stage next, with some old time quartet singing. We had great time, worshipping with all the folks at Friendship, and look forward to coming back again.

Sunday morning begin in Okolona MS, at Carnation Baptist church where Bro Truman Carter is the pastor. We had a great morning service, including a wonderful message, by Bro. Truman. Afterwards we went to the fellowship hall for a great meal, that was prepared by the church. Also there was a small child that recieved Jesus Christ as his personal savior that morning, and that made the trip worth it all. That afternoon the Masters hit the stage, I’m not sure how we made it through as much food as we all eat. We had a great time, and was good to see friends and family that we hadn’t seen in a while.

Sunday night was in Houston MS, at Faith Bible Church where Bro. Johnny Cherry is the pastor. We arrived early and got some great practice in on some new songs, that went over really well. We took the stage at 6, we had a great time of worship and fellowship, and look forward to going back. After the service we moved in the fellowship hall, where we had a great meal. We had a wonderful time seeing new faces, along with meeting new people.

We had a great weekend of music, and worship this past weekend. We look forward to this coming weekend where we will be traveling to Nettleton at Cayson Baptist Church. Please continue to pray for us as we travel and do the Lords will. Untiil next time God bless you.
