February 7 and 8

February 10th, 2009 by mastersadmin

Welcome to another blog session from the Master’s Quartet. The Master’s had a wonderful weekend on the road this weekend. We begin our journey in Houston MS at Fellowship Baptist Church, and end at Friendship Baptist church in Holly Springs.

Saturday night begin with a wonderful weekend of gospel music at Houston MS. We arrived at Fellowship Baptist church, where we were greeted with a wonderful smell of BBQ on the grill. We had a great meal before the singing, that was excellent. A local group started the night off. They had a wonderful sound, and also some great musicians. We had a wonderful service, and also had a great time helping to raise money for a member of the church. It was very good getting to see Bro. Brock, he made us feel right at home as usual.

Sunday morning started with a little bit of traveling to Holly Springs, MS. We had a wonderful morning service with special music from the congregation. We then moved to the fellowship hall where we had  a wonderful meal. The Master’s started out the afternoon with some great quartet singing. A special friend of the Master’s Quartet was there in attendance and sang a couple of songs. The Master’s also had a special friend that tagged along with us on the way up to Holly Springs, Charles Hodges. We were glad to have him come along with us.

We ended the weekend there at Holly Springs, and we continued back home. We had two great services this weekend. We would like to thank all of our friends and fans that came to support us, as we travel and sing the praises of God.

February 5th, 2009 by mastersadmin

The Master’s Quartet ended the month of January in Pontotoc MS at the Pontotoc Agri-Center. It was a special night for the host group Strong Hold, one of their members Amanda Staggs celebrating twenty years in gospel music. Featured artist were Fishers Of Men, Saving Grace, The Master’s Quartet, and host group Strong Hold. It was great meeting new people, and worshipping with everyone that was there.  It was also great getting to hang out and worship with all the other groups. All the groups did a great job, and had a great sound. We had a wonderful time, celebrating this special occasion with the group Strong Hold.

The Master’s Quartet started off February in Fulton MS, at Fairview Baptist Church where Brother Gene O’Brian is the pastor. It was a special day for the church family having one of their young members being baptized. The Master’s started out the morning service with some good old gospel music. It was a wonderful service. We got to meet new faces, along with seeing some folks that we hadn’t seen in quiet some time. After the service we all headed down to the fellowship hall for a wonderful meal. We had a wonderful weekend. Please check out our website for dates and times for our up coming concerts.  May God bless you.
