Wow Did we have fun

The Masters Quartet was blessed beyond measure this past weekend.On Saturday night We were at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Anninston,Ala. Brother Phillip King and the folks were ready for a good service and the Lord showed up and we had church.At the end of the service a lot of folks were in the altar and God poured out his blessings.After a time of fellowship we drove back home with joy in our hearts and cant wait to go back real soon.On Sunday we started the day at The North Corinth Baptist Church for their homecoming and had a wonderful time.It was good to have Joe Gann,Joe Johnson and Jackie Feazell all former members in the service with us.On Sunday night we were at Furrs Baptist Church in Tupelo,Ms with Brother Steve Cohea for their Bible conference.The lord was there and we had a great time,Then it was preaching time.Dr Brad Strand,writer of the Strand Study Bible brought the message and the Holy Spirit touched a lot of lives. We look forward to seeing y’all this weekend on Sunday August the 29 at 10 am with Bro.Mike Johnson and the church folks at County Line Baptist Church at Walnut,Ms and on that evening at 5 pm we will sing at the Horton Memorial Baptist Church at Ecru,Ms. If you cannot attend please keep us in your prayers and in the Lords will.God bless and we love yall.

August 7 & 8

What a great weekend of worship the Master’s Quartet had. We started the weekend off in Tishomingo MS, at Bethlehem Baptist church, and ended it at Cherokee AL, at Asphault Rock Baptist church.

Saturday night begin with a great crowd on hand at  Bethlehem baptist church. We had a wonderful time of worship and priase. We got to hear some good singing from the church members also. We took the stage, and had a wonderful time singing that good ole gospel music. It was great to get to be the folks there, and look forward to going back next year.

Sunday we arrived at Cherokee AL, at Asphault Rock Baptist church. We had a great time at the morning worship service, where Cassidy joined in the chior to sing along with the folks with the church. We then heard a great message brought by their pastor. After the service’s were over, we had a great fellowship meal, and we all eat way to much, to be singing afterwards. After the meal, we took the stage. We had a wonderful time with the folks at Asphault Rock, and look forward to being back with them. To make our traveling worth every mile, there was a young boy give his heart and soul to Jesus, and that was the greatest event of the weekend.

We had a great time with all the folks at both churches, and was good to see some friends and family at both. Please continue to pray as we travel and sing. We will be in Mantachie MS at Shiloah Baptist church at 1 on Sunday evening. Also we will be in New Albany MS at 5 at Moss Hill Baptist church. We would love for you to come out and join us.

WOW IT HAS BEEN HOT!! The Master’s quartet has been extremely busy latley. We had a great concert the first day of August at Providence Baptist church in Iuka MS.

We started the morning off with a wonderful worship service, and then heard a great message by Bro. Phil. We had a great time worshipping with the great folks at Providence. After the services, we made out way to the fellowship hall for a wonderful meal. We eat way to much to do any type of singing that afternoon, but we had to do our best. We took the stage after the meal, with some good old quartet singing. We had  a wonderfu crowd on hand for the singing, and we had  a wonderful time singing to the folks. It was a great day of worship, and we can’t wait to go back next year for their homecoming service. It was great to see some of our wonderful friends, and great to meet some new friends.

Please continue to pray as The Master’s Quartet continue to do the work for our wonderful Lord. We will be at the Bethlehem Baptist church in Tishamingo next Saturday night. Also we will be at the Asphault Rock Baptist church in Cherokee Al. Please come out and worship with us.

May 29 & 30

The Master’s Quartet had two great singings over this past weekend. We started out in Bruce MS at Lantrip Baptist church, and ended the weekend at Martin Baptist church in New Albany MS.
We arrived in Bruce on Saturday night, at Lantrip Baptist church. We had a wonderful time with the good folks down there. We also got to here a new bluegrass group that had just started singing. The group doesn’t have a name yet, but they did a good job. We took to the stage next, and rounded out the night with some good old quartet singing. We had a great service, and afterwards we had a great fellowship meal, it was good.
Sunday we arrived at Martin Baptist church in New Albany MS, where we had an evening concert. We had a wonderful time with the folks at Martin, and it was good to see Bro. Andy Russell again. We got the oppurtunity to see Carley Wilemon sing during our break, and as always she done a fabulous job. We had a great night, and ended it with a home made ice cream fellowship, which was great also. Thank you to all the folks at Martin for a great night of worship and fellowship, and look forward to coming back.
Thanks to everyone this weekend who came out to support us. We had a great time, and look forward to this coming weekend where will be in Ranburne AL, at Verdon Chapel Baptist church. If you live in the area, we would love for you to come out and worship with us. Please continue to pray for us as we travel and sing praises to our LORD, and try to plant the seed to see lost souls saved.

May 15 & 16

The Master’s Quartet had a great weekend of singings this week. We were in Oakland MS on Friday night, Bruce MS on Sunday morning, and Okolona MS on Sunday night.
Saturday night we arrived in Oakland MS, and had a great time of fellowship at the loca Catfish House there, it was great. We then arrived at New Life Fellowship church for a great concert. We had a great crowd on hand, and it was great seeing some of our old friends, and also meeting some folks for the first time. We had a great time of worship with the fine folks. We heard some good singing from some members of the chruch, and they sounded great. After the singing we had a wonderful fellowship meal to follow, which we were still able to eat a little. We had a great time, and look forward to going back soon.
Sunday morning we arrived at Sarepta Baptist church in Bruce MS for their homecoming service. We got to hear some good singing from the church members during the morning service, and then heard a great message from the guest pastor from Jackson, TN. After the morning service we had a wonderful fellowship meal to follow. After the meal, The Master’s took the stage for an afternoon concert. We had a great time with the folks at Sarepta, and always look forward to going down there.
The Master’s then hit the road to Okolona MS, where we were at Zion Rest Church of God. There we heard some great singing from some of the members of the church. We then took the stage, and had a wonderful night of worship and praise. We then went to the fellowship hall for a birthday celebration for Sid and Brenda Whitlock. We look forward to going back there real soon.

Happy Mother’s Day!

The Master’s Quartet started out Mother’s Day in Walnut, MS at Harmony Baptist church. We had a great time worshipping with the good folks there, at the homecoming service up there.
The morning begin with us doing a few songs during the worship service, then we heard a great message from their pastor. The church provided a wonderful meal after the morning service, and then it was time for the afternoon singing. There was a great crowd on hand, and we had a wonderful time. We were glad that the former tenor singer of the Master’s come to join us this morning, Mr. Terry Jones. This is Terry’s home church, and was glad to see his family there. We had a great time, and look forward to going back very soon.
The Master’s would like to take this time to wish all the mother’s a very happy Mother’s Day. We all love our mother’s very much, and pray that each and every mom had a great day. Remember to please check our website or up coming events, and also in the near future we will be putting up new photo’s on the photo page. Also please continue to pray for us as we travel, and try to share God’s word through song.

Three Wonderful Services

The weekend started out with rough weather, but the Master’s Quartet had three great concert’s this weekend. We begin the weekend off in Ecru MS, at Horton Memorial Baptist church on Saturday night. Then on Sunday morning it was off to Houston MS, to Macedonia United Methodist church. We then wrapped up the weekend at Macedonia Baptist church in Sherman MS.
Saturday evening we arrived in Ecru, at Horton Memorial Baptist church for a special concert. It was part of a surprise birthday celebration. The surprise went off with out a glitch, and we had a great night of worship. There was a great crowd on hand for the singing, and was good to see some old friends, and also good to ge to meet with new ones.
Sunday morning, we begin our journey down to Houston MS to Macedonia Methodist church. This was the fifth year for the Master’s Quartet to celebrate with the fine folks for their memorial service. The Master’s took the stage, and sang some of our new songs, and also some old quartet music. Everyone had a great time, and afterwards we heard a great message from their pastor. We then retired to the fellowship area, and had a wonderful meal that was fixed by the great cooks from the church. The Master’s would like thank you all for the wonderful worship service, message, food, and we look forward to being back next year.
The Master’s ended the weekend at Macedonia Baptist church in Sherman MS on Sunday evening. We thought that the weather was going to keep the crowd away, but they came on in. We had a great prayer service before the concert, with all the men in the church. The Master’s then took the stage, and had a great time of worship. We had a great time with the good people at Sherman, and look forward to getting to go back soon.

April 24 and 25

The Master’s Quartet had a wonderful weekend this week. We begin the weekend in Booneville at the Prentiss County Agri-Center, and ended the weekend at Pleasent Grove United Methodist church in Una MS.
Saturday begin with really rough weather, but ended up a very nice evening for our concert at the Agri-Center. We had a wonderful meal at Catfish Country, with the Moreheads from Monkey’s Eyebrow KY. Even though we had the weather that we did, we still had a pretty good crowd on hand. The evening begin with The Moreheads, they opened up the night, and did an excellent job. The Master’s took the stage next, and did some good old quartet singing. The Legendary Singing Cookes ended the night, and did a wonderful job. We had a great worship service, and would like to thank everyone that came out and joined us for our first every Master’s Quartet Spring Sing.
The Master’s ended the weekend in Una MS. We had a great time of worship, and fellowship at the folks at Pleasent Grove United Methodist Church. We got to hear a great message from the pastor, and also had a great meal afterwards. The Master’s begin the evening service around 1:00, and had a great time. We had a great crowd on hand, and had a wonderful time of praise and worship. The Master’s would like to thank Pleasent Grove United Methodist church for the warm welcome, and cannot wait to get to go back.

A Shouting Time

The Masters Quartet has had some spirt filled concert’s latley.Thank God that he still shows up and meets peoples need right where they are.On Saturday April 17 we were at The Five Points Baptist Church in Heflin,Ala with Pastor George Pike and all the wonderful folks there.We had a packed house and a wonderful concert.It was good to sing with our good friends Second Coming from Griffin,Ga.We are already looking forward to next year.On Sunday Morning we were with Brother Chris McCord and the good folks at Oakview Baptist Church at New Albany,Ms for Friends and Family day.What a great move of God was felt in the service with weeping,shouting and a soul being saved.We look forward to visiting again with the good folks at Oakview.Sunday night we were in Mooreville,Ms at The Bogalafou Baptist Church.It was packed out with home folks and a lot of visitors.There was shouting on the hill in Mooreville as we praised and worshiped God. Thank you God for a wonderful weekend.This Saturday night April 24 at 6pm The Masters Quartet will host our first ever spring concert at The Prentiss County Agri-Center in Booneville,Ms.Our special guest will be The Legandary Singing Cookes and our very dear friends The Moreheads.For ticket info or directions call our office at 662-720-2069.On Sunday we will be at The Prospect Methodist Church in Una,Ms at 1pm.We have never sang there and we look forward to meeting all the new people.If you would like to have The Masters Quartet come and sing for you just give us a call at 662-720-2069.Thanks and keep us in your prayers.

HAPPY EASTER!!!

The Master’s Quartet would like to wish all of our family, friends, and fans a happy Easter. As you celebrate this day, remember the true meaning of Easter, the day Jesus arose from the grave, after he died for our sins.
The Master’s had a great time this weekend in Pensacola Fl. Allen and Cassidy arrived late Thursday night, with the rest of the crew coming on in on Friday. We had a great service at the Good Friday night sing, at Olivet Baptist church in Milton Fl. We started the night off, with some good ole quartet singing, and was followed by Dan Kirkland a soloist from the church. The Henderson’s ended the night, and they did a great job.
The Master’s stayed with our good friends the Henderson’s while down in FL. We woke up Saturday morning to a wonderful breakfast, then it was off to the beach. Jamie Tallent, Allen, and Cassidy had a great time on the beach, Jamie was really excited because it was his first time to see anything like that.
We ended our trip in Jay FL, where we sung at Ebenezer Assembly of God church. The spirit was great, and had such a wonderful time of fellowship, and meeting folks that we had never met before. We also had a great meal after the service, that filled us up. We would like to thank everyone for treating us so nice, while we were in Fl. We hope and pray that we will get to come back soon.
The Master’s would like to take this time to let you know about our first ever Spring Sing, that will be coming up April 24 at the Prentiss county Agri-Center. Featured groups will be The Master’s Quartet, The Moreheads from Monkey’s Eye Brow, KY, and The Singing Cooks. We would love for everyone to come out and join us, as we sing praises to our Lord. Please check our website for up coming dates, and always remember to keep us in your prayers, as we travel to sing praises to our Lord and Saviour.
